Position Location Senior Staff Accountants North York or Mississauga Salary $55k - 75k Responsibilities As a Senior Staff Accountant you will be an important member of engagement teams helping to solve client problems. You will have the opportunity to: 1) Provide assurance, accounting and related advisory services to public and private clients in our various industry sectors 2) Act as the lead member of an engagement team and be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the engagement, including planning, supervision and training of staff 3) Be involved in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports, prospectuses, IPOs, and related special projects for client engagements Requirements 1) A Canadian CA designation 2) Familiarity with Canadian GAAP, GAAS and financial reporting (essential) 3) Exposure to US GAAP and GAAS is desirable, but not required 4) A minimum of four years' progressive experience in a public practice firm. 5) Strong technical skills 6) Strong commitment to client service 7) Excellent communication skills 8) Proven ability to interact with clients and staff of various levels 9) Team leadership skills 10) Supervisory experience
