About our client
Our client, an international privately owned company headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon and operating in several countries, has an exciting opportunity within their Finance Division. Our client is looking for a CA, CPA or equivalent to manage the accounting and finance operations in Algers, Algeria, North Africa.
Position Location
Country Financial Controller (Bilingual – French and English) Algeria, North Africa
Salary Reports to
$80K - 100K U.S., Tax free Finance Director in the Corporate Head Office and administratively to the Country General Manager
Responsibilities
Complete responsibility for managing country finance function.
Requirements
FLUENTLY BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND FRENCH - DON'T APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT FLUENT IN FRENCH PLEASE!
1) University graduate (Major in accounting, business administration or related subjects – MBA is an advantage) plus CA or CPA
2) Holder of an internationally recognized professional qualification (CPA/CA)
3) Must be bi-lingual (English / French) with knowledge of Arabic is preferred
4) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
5) 5 – 8 years of senior level relevant experience preferable in an industry
6) Professional attitude to work environment and interaction with people
7) Travel frequently within the country and to corporate head office
8) Leadership and delegation skills
9) Computer literate with excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
10) Working exposure of ERP software

The successful individual will be bi-lingual (English / French) (Arabic preferred) with a university degree and an internationally recognized professional qualification. You will have superior interpersonal and communication skills and 5-8 years of proven senior-level experience within industry. In order to be set up for success in this role, the individual will also possess strong leadership and delegation skills and be computer literate with excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, as well as working exposure to ERP software.

1. Stable personality - must not have changed jobs frequently.
2. Willing to relocate - to Casablanca, Morocco.
3. CFO stuff - we do not need bean counters. Job profile is quite wide
starting from managing accounting and finance staff, treasury, relationship management, pricing, costing and discounting issues, managing balance sheet items such as inventories, receivables and cash, audits, legal issues, IT, budgeting and forecasting, strategy and business support.
4. Package is negotiable and can be tailored for the right candidate.
