Responsible for OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES
CLIENT complying with all SOX related requirements.
1) Delivering all SOX requirements for OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES CLIENT
2) Managing all HR responsibilities with respect to the SOX team
3) Managing costs of the project
4) Staying current with OUR CLIENT policy and industry trends
Report Results
1) Responsible for the completion of all reporting for the SOX efforts within
OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES CLIENT including monthly deficiency logs,
significant account coverage, handoff status, and other reporting that may be
required from time to time
2) Responsible for ensuring that business units and OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL
SERVICES CLIENT CFO are kept up to speed on SOX through regular meetings and/or
communiqués
3) Assist in the completion of the Tone in the Middle document
4) Completion of the annual RCSA process for OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES
CLIENT Finance
Business Analysis
1) Responsible for ensuring that all cycles have been properly identified
2) Responsible for ensuring that all risks and controls are properly identified
3) Responsible for ensuring that design and operating effectiveness has been
properly evaluated and concluded upon for all cycles
4) Responsible for ensuring that all our clients subsidiaries are kept current
on requirements and meet those requirements
5) Completion of a lessons learned session at the end of every fiscal year
6) Responsible for staying current with OUR CLIENT policy and industry trends
Manage Relationships External to OUR GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES CLIENT Finance
1) Act as relationship manager for the team in dealing with program office,
internal and external auditors. This includes keeping each group up to date on
the work of the SOX team, any problems being encountered, providing any
reporting as required (deficiency logs, etc)
Develop People/Teamwork
1) Ensure staffing meets business requirements at all times
2) Responsibility for all HR related matters for the team including annual and
semiannually appraisals and maintaining up to date job descriptions
3) Ensuring that training is consistent with requirements
Conducting review sessions following the distribution of Pulse results
Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates who are
Canadian Qualified Chartered Accountants with SOX Experience.
