About our client
Our Client is a leading firm of CAs and management consultants with offices across Canada and international affiliates worldwide
Position Location
Director – Finance and Administration Toronto
Responsibilities
1) Give financial and administrative leadership to its Greater Toronto Area practice
2) Provide overall direction for all finance, accounting, budget, and administrative functions
3) Lead a talented group of financial and administrative staff
4) Direct all financial and administrative aspects of the business over 3 locations, including over 30 executives and a total complement of over 230 people
5) Travel to all 3 locations – Downtown, Markham and Mississauga)
6) Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in your area of responsibility, then develop and implement plans to realize on those opportunities
7) Work collaboratively as a member of the office leadership team to develop and implement strategies for achieving the goals of the business unit
Requirements
1) Professional designation in accounting/financing, and/or a post-graduate degree
2) Extensive senior financial management experience in a professional services firm or similar organization
3) Strong executive leadership skills, sound business judgment
4) High energy and ability to get things done in a partnership-style organization
