Position Location Trade Execution Specialist Bermuda Responsibilities 1) Provide best execution strategy for sophisticated high net worth and institutional investors in all security types and foreign exchange 2) Execute security transactions in major markets around the globe in a timely and efficient manner 3) Assess market risks & impacts, set tactical execution strategy and provide feedback to team to accomplish investment objectives 4) Provide portfolio managers with ongoing information about market sentiment, trading environment, trading volume, price volatility, etc. 5) Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio managers and external securities dealers 6) Monitor the effectiveness and value-added of brokerage institutions on an on-going basis focusing on executions, market impact and cost 7) Negotiate with brokers and banks to price trades based on market factors, make decisions within short time frames 8) Manage the company's own book of securities 9) Verify transactions are executed properly and that client accounts are serviced 10) Participate in the Investment Strategy Committee 11) Prepare daily market report Requirements 1) Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Finance or Business 2) Internationally recognised qualification such as Series 7, Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Securities Conduct and Practices Handbook and/or CFA level I 3) Direct experience in dealing with clients in a trade execution environment 4) Clear-headed with an ability to take client orders outside business hours in some circumstances 5) Strong interpersonal skills as well as proven ability to achieve goals 6) Adherence to the strictest Standard of Practices and Code of Ethics as outlined by the CFA Institute
