Position Location Information Technology Support Specialist Bermuda Salary $60K - $70K USD Tax Free Responsibilities 1) Perform programming, implementations and testing 2) Provide reliable, high quality network management and support of Windows NT and Windows 2003 environment, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, Hubs, CISCO Router, VPN, Network Security 3) Configure workstations 4) Administer network and manage database permissions, setup and/or troubleshoot access to network printers and other network resources 5) Manage and maintain portfolio management systems - Portia and Trade Trak 6) Set up, train and support end users on Windows Network, Exchange Server, SQL server, Crystal Report, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Goldmine and other Contact Databases, and SQL programming with proprietary trade management system 7) Seek opportunities to contribute to application system and/or business process improvements 8) Manage daily backup data and monthly testing of the Business Resumption Plan 9) Maintain and amend Business Recovery Plan so that it fulfils current requirements Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) in Information Technology 2) 5 years of experience in data systems management and with at least one Microsoft certification 3) 2-year Information Technology diploma with 7+ years of experience in data systems management and with at least 1 Microsoft certification 4) Training in data systems management and at least 2 of the following Microsoft certificates plus 7 years experience - i.e. MCPS, MCSE, MCPS +Internet, MCSE +Internet, MCP +Internet 5) Experience in Windows NT/Windows 2003 Network Administration and PC hardware management 6) Experience in Microsoft SQL system management and ability to create and use complex SQL queries for data analysis 7) Ability to create and maintain web sites 8) Experience in working with Microsoft exchange server, active directory, SQL server and Cisco routers 9) Experience in developing software in an active X development environment such as UltimADE and Visual Basic 10) Extensive report writing skills specifically in Crystal Reports 10 11) Understanding of the investment industry, including financial markets and securities (preferred) 12) Ability to travel to offices in other jurisdictions and to work with minimal supervision in meeting deadlines
