Latest Job Opening for Accounting & Finance  Job #01032 Position Location Database and Reporting Analyst Bermuda Salary $80K Responsibilities 1) Provide analysis of data source and flow, business information requirements and data modeling 2) Design and implement reporting database applications, and report automation 3) Provide ongoing status reports 4) Prepare detailed documentation of the tools and reporting procedures 5) Design testing plans, and test for data integrity as well as application performance 6) Maintain and re-engineer current Crystal reports, Access, Excel and other databases 7) Perform data cleansing and manipulation, working with multiple incompatible data sources 8) Monitor performance of databases and make tuning changes 9) Manage network administration using outsourcing or direct involvement when required 10) Maintain and amend Business Recovery Plan so that it fulfils current requirements Requirements 1) University degree in Computer/Information/Management Information Sciences, Business Administration/Finance with 3 years of experience in data systems administration or a 2-year Information Technology diploma with 5+ years of experience in data systems management 2) Microsoft certification (at least one) 3) Experience in Microsoft SQL system management as well as the ability to create and use complex SQL queries for data analysis 4) Experience in Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory, SQL server and Cisco Routers 5) Experience in developing database-reporting tools 6) Extensive report writing skills (specifically in Crystal reports) 7) Superb understanding of network management and support of Windows NT and Windows 2003 environment, which includes LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, Hubs, CISCO Router, VPN and Network Security 8) Ability to configure workstations, administer network and manage database permissions 9) Knowledge of the investment industry, including financial markets and securities preferred 10) Willingness to travel to offices in other jurisdictions and to work with minimal supervision
