Position Location Executive Vice-President, Portfolio Manager Vancouver, BC Salary $150,000 plus bonus Responsibilities 1) Contribute to designing, strategies, development and management of new products 2) Collaborate on the designing and development of effective forward-looking research 3) Create and maintain detailed financial models and evaluate companies by performing quantitative and qualitative analysis 4) Prepare and write investment research reports 5) Provide input and constructive challenges to research initiatives and portfolio positioning 6) Work with other portfolio managers in making investment decisions 7) Provide clients with frequent updates through written and road show type presentations Requirements 1) CFA and CSC 2) Expert knowledge of portfolio management strategies and valuation techniques 3) Experience in and passion for investing 4) Experience in picking and managing mining stocks 5) Extensive knowledge of capital markets 6) Ability to lead and work with a team of professionals 7) Ability to achieve excellence and derive satisfaction from it
