Position Location Chief Financial/Operating Officer Bermuda Salary $150K Base Responsibilities 1) Run and control the day-to-day operations of the firm 2) Assist the CEO and principals in developing and executing the long-term strategic vision of the firm 3) Conduct strategic analyses of current profit centers and develop business opportunities 4) Manage, motivate and lead a team of committed managers to effectively drive deliverables to the clients 5) Direct the compliance, regulatory and risk management functions within the firm 6) Improve and enhance operational efficiencies through streamlined processes and cutting-edge technologies 7) Oversee the work of the Financial Controller to ensure timely and useful budgetary and financial reporting 8) Plan, organize and direct the operational aspects of any overseas expansion Requirements 1) Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) 2) Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in the financial services industry, including at least 5 years in a management position in the investment industry 3) Chartered Financial Analyst designation a plus 4) Solid understanding of investment strategies and financial services products 5) Fund valuation and shareholder service experience preferred 6) Compliance experience gained at a senior management level 7) Strong knowledge of computer and network systems with experience in systems conversions 8) Demonstrated track record of excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills 9) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels 10) Committed and energetic individual
