| Responsibilities |
1) Support executive decision-making 2) Perform
creative analysis and reporting solutions for leading edge trading and risk
oversight 3) Apply sophisticated data mining techniques and expert judgment in selecting visual representations of results to provide management with a clear view of key business, and risk factors 4) Design market, credit, and operational risk dashboards that illustrate trends, utilize heat mapping concepts, and link financial risks to risk strategy as well as performance benchmarks 5) Consider a broader risk spectrum in design of dashboards by product line including relative size/market share, liquidity, transparency of valuations, etc. 6) Improve (continually) quality of data inputs to ensure that executive level summaries are built on sound fundamental details 7) Handle risk strategy and process consulting 8) Research new risk and trading strategies as well as ideas, and prepare presentations on these topics for management action
9) Liaise with trading floor and corporate risk areas with regard to issues that
relate to market, credit and operational risk monitoring, and strategy adherence 10) Improve risk metrics and risk reporting 11) Develop recommendations and participate in implementation of improvements 12) Create process maps for operating groups 13) Identify areas of non-compliance or key points where control break down could carry risk of economic losses 14) Lead change management efforts to rectify problem areas 15) Track internal and external audit as well as regulatory recommendations for further opportunities to improve processes, and monitoring
16) Provide advice on Basel II and other capital-related matters 17) Assist with definition of risk limits 18) Monitor (daily) exposures against limits 19) Create an inventory of approved products, and track adherence to authorized products and strategies 20) Identify and handle anomalies in a timely fashion 21) Identify positions that have been booked or mapped incorrectly and coordinate efforts to rectify issues 22) Assist with quarterly financial reporting processes 23) Deal with front office personnel and various risk management groups as well as Finance and Operations

| Requirements |
1) Master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Physics or Economics 2) Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives products, trading room activities, operations processes and Straight Through Processing systems 3) Familiarity with constructing flow charts, process maps, dashboards, heat maps and charts 4) Expertise in using data mining tools 5) Experience in working with relational databases (filtering rows, joining tables, etc.) 6) Superb organizational skills 7) Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills 8) Ability to present and facilitate group discussions 9) Ability to create visual design for communicating data
10) Ability to build strong working relationships with various areas (internal
and external) while providing outstanding client and business partner service 11) Ability to adapt to constantly evolving systems and product requirements 12) Excellent statistical and financial modeling as well as practical application skills 13) Ability to offer analytical solutions for process enhancements
