| Responsibilities |
1) Carry out financial accounting of corporate cost centre in accordance with company procedures and policies 2) Supervise and train 2 to 4 staff members 3) Maintain attendance and vacation schedules of staff 4) Manage any staff issues and prepare annual reviews 5) Present any procedure and policy changes 6) Coordinate with the auditors and their requirements 7) Perform monthly consolidation of all cost centers 8) Assist in preparation of notes to quarterly consolidated financial statements 9) Prepare assigned quarterly and yearly schedules 10) Prepare annual report schedules 11) Maintain schedules regarding share capital and reconciliations 12) Maintain schedules of bank loans – account analysis 13) Review coding of accounts payable and release of accounts payable 14) Write checks as required 15) Review and release journal entries 16) Prepare journal entries (mortgage financings, acquisitions and dispositions) 17) Perform cutting required for check for AMS on a timely basis 18) Review journal entries for AMS 19) Review PST and GST filings 20) Run monthly reports for Payroll, IT and Marketing 21) Maintain trustee fees calculations 22) Handle corporate and consolidated budget 23) Maintain proper quarterly binders 24) Carry out clearing of VISA checks 25) Review insurance 26) Review monthly consolidated statements (i.e. ensuring I/C accounts balance, no amounts in suspense, no amounts in sold cost centers, etc.)

| Requirements |
1) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business 2) 3 – 5 years of relevant experience 3) Excellent knowledge of GAAP 4) Well-organized, responsible and deadline oriented individual 5) Flexible with the ability to multi-task 6) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
