| Accounting Manager – Chartered Accountant |

| $90K to $105k base plus bonus |
| Responsibilities |
1) Lead a team of corporate accountants, operational analysts, consolidation accountants and Fixed Asset Accountant
2) Mentor, coach and lead the Accounting Group/Department
3) Oversee the daily activities of the accounting function
4) Ensure a smooth and successful integration of the company's accounting practices
5) Coordinate the financial reporting process
6) Review and oversee GL reconciliations, monthly consolidated-financial statements and entity financial statements
7) Play a key role in integrating Accounting Department, identifying areas to achieve efficiencies and streamline processes
8) Mentor, coach, and facilitate the development and team building of the Accounting Team
9) Coordinate and oversee Q2 review engagement and year-end audit
10) Coordinate and oversee the Quarterly Reporting Package
11) Research emerging accounting issues and oversee implementation
12) Evaluate reporting and other internal control functions and make recommendations for change
13) Develop and implement accounting policies, systems and procedures
14) Participate in or lead special projects (as needed) |
| Requirements |
1) Chartered Accountant
2) 5 - 7 years of experience in the accounting field
3) 2 - 3 years of experience in leading a team
4) Experience in an international environment an asset
5) Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and provide structure to a team
6) Exceptional working knowledge of GAAP
7) Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement such improvements |
