Latest Job Opening for Accounting & Finance  Job #01057 About our client Our client is the world's largest marketplace providing trading platforms for communications Position Location Development Accountant Toronto, Ontario Salary $40K Base – $50K Responsibilities 1) Prepare construction drawings and cost reports 2) Analyze WIP for development projects and compare with budget as well as review cost to complete 3) Prepare client/partner reporting for development projects 4) Perform analyses and reconciliations of bank accounts, inter-company accounts as well as trust accounts 5) Handle preparation of various government reports 6) Assist with cash flow monitoring 7) Record new acquisitions and financing, ensuring invoices are coded correctly 8) Provide inputs to computerized accounting system and process payments 9) Handle all month-end processes, including creation, entry, and posting of journals 10) Ensure that revenue is billed and recorded accurately 11) Assist with budgeting and forecasting 12) Produce ad hoc reports (as required) Requirements 1) Diploma or degree in Accounting 2) Minimum 2 years of experience in handling full development accounting cycles and financial statements 3) Expertise in Yardi software 4) Accounting designation or enrollment in a recognized accounting program an asset 5) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 6) Strong analytical skills 7) Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook) 8) Ability to take initiative and work independently 9) Detail oriented 10) Confident and able to relate with all customer levels (internal and external) 11) Collaborative attitude in working with team members
