| Responsibilities |
1) Prepare, analyze, and interpret of financial
information 2) Support and develop financial models for assessing economic investment decisions, financial feasibility, cash reports, treasury activities, debt equity, and return on investment 3) Assist with preparing corporate presentations 4) Support various economic and financial studies, special projects related to oil sands exploration and development 5) Assist with analyzing economic, financial, and technical variables 6) Provide analytical support of business cases and operational results 7) Assist in preparing monthly internal financial reporting 8) Support financial modeling systems and programs 9) Assist with preparing financial and marketing presentations 10) Identify issues, develop action plans, and support business processes 11) Assist with cash management and treasury activities 12) Review and continuously improve process control systems integrity 13) Initiate and support various ad hoc analyses and special projects as they arise |
| Requirements |
1) Post-secondary education, Degree in Finance or an Accounting discipline or the equivalent 2) 1 - 3 years of experience in oil and gas finance, treasury, and/or accounting preferred 3) Actively working towards the CFA designation 4) Knowledge/experience in financial modeling and planning and cost-control systems 5) Strong technical and analytical financial and problem-solving skills 6) Detail-orientated with strength in meeting deadlines and responding to changing priorities 7) Demonstrated ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams 8) Advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook 9) Results-orientated professional enjoying the challenge of a new business venture |
