Position Location Controller Toronto Salary $80K – $100K Base Responsibilities 1) Develop and maintain a financial organization capable of meeting requirements for a cutting-edge medical technology leader 2) Participate and lead commercial management in developing financial long-range planning and portfolio management as well as tracking/monitoring progress, profitability and return on investment 3) Handle sales and operations planning, forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and portfolio management that will enable the business unit to meet and exceed its financial objectives Requirements 1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred 2) CPA/CMA preferred (MBA strongly preferred) 3) Previous commercial and/or international experience also preferred 4) Proven finance professional with classical financial management experience, demonstrated progress in their career, and a record of excellence managing FP&A, cost/general accounting, and financial reporting functions and delivering results 5) At least 10 years of finance experience including 3 years in management in a healthcare-related industry like medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or managed care 6) Proven experience in FP&A, cost/general accounting and financial reporting 7) Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and biologics 8) Individuals with strong classical finance skills who have successfully planned, implemented, and administered financial information and control systems in a healthcare-related setting will be considered 9) Knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting preferred 10) Energetic, motivated and high-achieving professional 11) Individual with good instincts, good cross-functional team skills, and good leadership potential 12) Highly organized mindset, business maturity as well as strong interpersonal skills
