About our client
Our client, an international privately owned company headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon and operating in several countries, has an exciting opportunity within their Finance Division. They are looking for a CA, CPA or equivalent to manage the accounting and finance operations.
Position Location
Bilingual Controller (English, Arabic and French Speaking) Algiers, Algeria
Reports to
Finance Director/Country General Manager
Responsibilities
1) Handle complete country finance functions
2) Manage accounting and finance staff
3) Handle treasury, relationship management, pricing, costing and discounting issues
4) Manage balance sheet items such as inventories, receivables and cash
5) Perform audits and handle legal issues, IT, budgeting as well as forecasting
6) Oversee strategy and business support
Requirements
1) University graduate in Accounting, Business Administration or related subjects (MBA a plus)
2) CA or CPA designation
3) 5 – 8 years of senior level experience preferred
4) Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
5) Working knowledge of ERP software
6) Professional attitude to work environment and interact with people
7) Fluent in English And French (knowledge of Arabic preferred)
8) Good leadership and delegation skills
9) Computer literate with excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
10) Stable personality (no frequent job changes)
11) Willingness to travel frequently (within the country and to the corporate head office)
