Position Location Vice President, Controller New York Salary Reports to $150K President Responsibilities 1) Perform general accounting functions (monthly closings, financial statement preparation, G/L account analysis, payroll, A/R, A/P, etc) 2) Ensure GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley compliance/accounting research 3) Preparation of finance schedules/MD&A Notes and inventory valuation 4) Handle inter-company and foreign OEM issues Requirements 1) BS in Accounting and CPA designation 2) Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience as a Divisional Controller in a manufacturing, retail/ wholesale or consumer good industry 3) Strong GAAP and SOX/SEC experience 4) Proven record of managing diverse and sometimes dysfunctional teams to achieve results 5) Excellent manufacturing and product cost accounting experience 6) Proficient in various financial reporting and enterprise management platforms and programs 7) Navision experience a plus 8) Strong leadership skills in determining and developing and implementing financial direction and goals for the company 9) Good personnel development and team building skills
