Position Location Intermediate Waste Engineer Illinois Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Senior Management Responsibilities 1) Provide short/long term planning for projects 2) Ensure cost, quantity and quality control for all solid waste management programs 3) Handle preventative maintenance and asset management in accordance with all applicable regulations 4) Manage detailed designing and construction of municipal infrastructure related to land development 5) Provide technical guidance to team members, including other engineers, technicians and technologists 6) Handle a variety of projects (utilities, wastewater collection and stormwater collection systems) 7) Prepare technical reports/feasibility studies Requirements 1) Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology 2) 5+ years of experience in consulting/construction environment 3) Field experience (landfills, cover systems, incineration, waste compaction and recycling) 4) Expertise in AutoCAD and Autodesk Land Desktop preferred (Civil 3D a plus)
