Position Location Senior Mechanical Engineer Winnipeg, MB Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Implement and oversee the technical designs on multiple projects 2) Handle HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection mechanical design 3) Prepare technical specifications 4) Manage project budgets 5) Prepare and/or review construction and life cycle cost estimates 6) Participate in technical staff training (as needed) 7) Manage staff workload 8) Contribute to project proposals and interact with clients Requirements 1) BS in Mechanical Engineering 2) P. Eng. license and LEED certification 3) 10+ years of design experience in HVAC, plumbing, building controls, plant utilities, and fire protection services 4) Experience in commercial, institutional building projects 5) Experience in specialized environment design (museums, art galleries) 6) Experience in Energy conservation/recovery systems 7) Plumbing & sanitary systems and Fire protection 8) Working knowledge of local building code requirements for mechanical work 9) Expertise in AutoCAD
