Position Location Estimator (Pressure Vessels) Ontario Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Develop quotations/project tenders on client’s Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the custom metal process equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers and a variety of fabrication processes 2) Respond professionally to customer’s RFQ with formal tender quotation packages as well as informal communication 3) Perform material take-off and estimate labor hours and sub-contracting costs by reviewing drawings and specifications provided by the customers Requirements 1) Estimating experience in pressure vessels, reactors, tanks, exchangers, condensers, and similar process equipment 2) Knowledge of ASME codes (Section VIII), Division I pressure vessels, and Section IX welding qualifications 3) Thorough understanding of material specifications, general fabrication and machining practices, and techniques in a medium to heavy-duty fabrication environment 4) In-depth understanding of subcontracted trades such as PWHT, NDE, machining, and painting 5) AutoCAD knowledge a significant asset
