Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize downtime 2) Schedule and implement action plans for contractors during annual shutdown. Identify and recommend unscheduled shutdown priority assignments 3) Support maintenance & operations problem solving by providing advice or guidance when requested and liaise with consultants and vendors on technical aspects of issues 4) Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities to the respective manager 5) Develop, communicate and implement maintenance procedures and trouble shooting guidelines to support consistency and efficiency 6) Support the implementation of a system that meets QMS(ISO 9001-2), EMS (ISO 14001) and Safety OHSAS (18001) standards 7) Keep up to date with new technology and management methods 8) Support the promotion of a safe work place and a health & safety program 9) Support the implementation and execution of a preventative and predictive maintenance program 10) Provide relief for Mechanical Supervisors & Planners as required 11) Participate in shutdown coordination in support of Maintenance Planners and Mechanical Supervisors 12) Ensure modifications, repairs and inspections of power piping, pressure vessels and safety valves are performed in compliance with the ASME code 13) Monitor monthly repair project spending to support the Manager Maintenance & Engineering in meeting budget 14) Key participant in root cause analysis and elimination 15) Effectively use the maintenance management systems including Planning and Scheduling Guidelines 16) Assist maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and solve repetitive maintenance failures to improve maintenance efficiency 17) Support tradesmen by providing advice or guidance when requested |
| Requirements |
1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering 2) Past experience in Steam and Recovery and/or Pulp 3) Provide Reliability Engineering support services to the Reliability Team and Operating Departments to increase reliability and minimize cost in compliance with Corporate principles and guidelines and applicable legislation |
