| Responsibilities |
1) The Division Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a growing group of over 50 professionals 2) Driving divisional growth and establishing senior leadership 3) Overseeing the daily operations of the division including; scheduling work, cost control (expenses and budget control as well as utilization management) 4) Providing technical guidance to employees within the division and dealing with all daily issues pertaining to staff 5) Responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing junior and intermediate employees within the division 6) Client interaction and business development 7) Proposal and report writing |
| Requirements |
1) 10+ years experience with a proven ability in project management and team development 2) University degree in a related field of study such as Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering 3) P.Eng Designation 4) Excellent team building skills and leadership with a proven ability to motivate people 5) Strong communication skills are essential including both written as well as verbal 6) Proven ability to be tactful and diplomatic with clients 7) Strong knowledge of building evaluations, design and construction 8) Ability to work effectively in a high demand, fast paced environment 9) Proactive approach with a focus on leadership 10) Must have proven business development skills 11) Must have extensive managerial experience |
