Position Location Packaging Engineer Oconomowoc, WI Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Research, identify and evaluate new packaging materials and equipment to ensure manufacturing operations are functional and cost effective 2) Create innovative packaging by using in-depth technical knowledge, experience and education 3) Test and interpret the data as well as make changes as necessary to ensure that the packaging meets the regulations 4) Establish test procedures for packaging laboratory and conduct trials to confirm feasibility of concepts and materials 5) Help in product investigation 6) Ensure packaging material compliance with division and regulatory (GMP) requirements 7) Reduce packaging waste and increase line efficiencies by identifying potential cost-savings opportunities 8) Assist in writing and executing packaging qualification protocols and summary reports as required 9) Conduct packaging line trials and component qualifications 10) Ensure that new packaging configurations conform to appropriate regulatory packaging requirements Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) 2) Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role 3) Shrink sleeve experience 4) Strong packaging experience in a printing environment 5) Narrow web flexo experience an asset
