Position Location Autocad Draftsperson Mississauga, ON Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Design and prepare detailed electronic working plans, charts and/or scale drawings for complex projects 2) Interface with departmental personnel to obtain details of equipment and materials requirements 3) Review and manipulate electronic files received from consultants and departmental contacts 4) Make basic computations to determine layout of charts, strength of materials and requirements for structural design 5) Revise computer-aided designs and plans to comply with modified specifications made during actual construction 6) Provide technical guidance and direction to the drafting staff in the interpretation and implementation of specifications and requirements 7) Guide the drafting staff in procuring and using CAD files 8) Perform other related duties incidental to the work described Requirements 1) Experience in structural, mechanical and electrical drawing 2) Strong AutoCAD experience and knowledge 3) Well-organized individual with good interpersonal skills 4) Excellent communication skills
