They work with private and public companies to provide structural, civil and infrastructure experience. Position Location Structural Engineer Ontario Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Design structural systems from scheme design through to working drawings 2) Prepare and coordinate structural specifications 3) Manage the design process and provide deliverables within budget 4) Communicate directly and regularly with clients as well as manage client meetings 5) Liaise with clients, agencies and subcontractors 6) Mentor and oversee junior engineers within the organization Requirements 1) P. Eng or CET license 2) Minimum 5 years of structural work experience in Ontario 3) Experience in design and contract administration of municipal bridges, culverts, retaining walls, pumping stations and low-rise building components 4) Previous experience in Ministry of Transportation Highway Costing System (HiCo) and Contract Preparation System (CPS) would be a definite asset 5) Good working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code 6) Knowledge of structural analysis software such as S-Frame
