Product Engineering Team Lead |
| Responsibilities |
1) Perform a variety of complex engineering tasks in support of Product Engineering and development initiatives
2) Provide advanced electrical engineering expertise to the design and development of UV disinfection equipment for water treatment
3) Act as the corporate subject matter expert in the field of electrical engineering practice – both theoretical and practical
4) Provide leadership and technical guidance to other electrical engineers and designers on electrical engineering standards and regulations
5) Perform engineering assignments requiring broad familiarity with a variety of electrical theories and concepts
6) Investigate and provide solid engineering solutions to product issues and continuous improvement in value engineering opportunities
7) Solve problems using a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures or developed methods
8) Demonstrate an extensive working knowledge of relevant electrical standards such as UL, CSA, CE and NEC
9) Create and execute plans in order to achieve broad department goals and objectives
10) Provide professional and comprehensive technical documentation
11) Interface with suppliers, regulatory officials and consulting engineers |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Electrical Engineering
2) P. Eng license
3) 10+ years of related industrial work experience
4) Proven track record of developing innovative design solutions
5) Deep understanding of the theory and application of electrical engineering
6) Knowledge of power electronics devices and/or power quality fundamentals an asset
7) Ability to manage multiple priorities while utilizing project management techniques
8) Team player and ability to lead others or work independently
9) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
10) Willing to travel internationally |
