Project Controls Coordinator |
| Responsibilities |
1) Determine appropriate sequence of work execution while using computerized scheduling software 2) Understand construction projects clearly with an engineering and procurement component 3) Lead a team of planners/schedulers to produce quality and accurate work plans and schedules that follow best practices and procedures 4) Ensure that all maintenance planning activities support the business needs 5) Allocate tools and resources to ensure that planning and scheduling objectives are met 6) Manage and monitor maintenance schedules and progress to provide recommendations and updates where necessary 7) Confirm that detailed plans, schedules and cost estimates created for maintenance activities are completed and accurate 8) Ensure that execution plans and work activity schedules are realistic and achievable 9) Maximize productivity by ensuring that planned resources are used efficiently 10) Ensure maximum mechanical availability during planned maintenance |
| Requirements |
1) Minimum 10 years of experience in a mining environment 2) Sound construction knowledge 3) Knowledge of P6/MS software 4) Knowledge of project controls in an EPC/EPCM environment. 5) Ability to determine trends analyzing progress 6) Ability to work well in a team and high-stress environment. 7) Willingness to work as a team in a camp setting |
