Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Supervise all lab personnel and operations in the Quality Department 2) Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards 3) Revise and update the quality control manuals as needed 4) Monitor routine quality test effectiveness and make recommendations to the Quality Manager 5) Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required 6) Prepare monthly production reports using data from routine quality tests 7) Serve as an Auditor for internal quality audits 8) Develop and maintain knowledge of resins used in the stretch film industry sufficient to offer significant assistance to the efforts of R&D personnel in their efforts to develop new products 9) Prepare all necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnel 10) Conduct research, develop and implement Technical Data Sheets to include the appropriate data needed 11) Continue evaluating and revising the information on the form as needed 12) Improve upon the current RGA system continuously and implement on an ongoing basis 13) Evaluate, improve and implement revisions to the Line Set-Up sheets and system 14) Administer ISO Quality Program by acting as a liaison to the Third Party Administrator 15) Compile appropriate data for product development testing and production characterization 16) Conduct research, design and implement test methodology for the Quality Lab and ensure latest methods and equipment used for the plastics industry |
| Requirements |
1) College education with a good background in math
and manufacturing process 2) Experience in quality assurance practices as they apply to individual unique products can be learned during on-the-job training, but overall capability in this discipline must be previously demonstrated 3) Demonstrated leadership ability, preferably in a manufacturing environment 4) Good systems approach capabilities |
