Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Design and manage sanitary sewer and storm water systems, water systems, roads and other infrastructure projects
2) Report directly to the owners/partners of the company
3) Act as a Project Lead on new engineering projects
4) Conduct cost monitoring, including control and schedule on projects and communication with the client
5) Handle contractor relations for projects going through the tendering and construction phases
6) Supervise designing of specific projects, including coordinating drafting personnel, guiding technical staff, liaising with clients, technical reviews, preparing project specifications and resolving various engineering problems
7) Implement budget management and ensure that there is adequate staff on hand to properly execute projects
8) Meet client requirements as per contractual agreements
9) Maintain existing business relationships and build new ones |
| Requirements |
1) Degree in Civil Engineering with eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGNB
2) Minimum 8 years of relevant municipal engineering experience
3) Experience in cost monitoring and client relations
4) Strong design and project management experience in sanitary, sewer and storm and storm water systems and roads
5) Strong knowledge of and competence with design software, word processing and
spreadsheet
6) Municipal Infrastructure knowledge including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm water management, highways and roads
7) Strong problem-solving skills
8) Proficiency with civil 3D Software will be an asset
9) Individual with a strong desire to succeed
10) Strong ability to take initiatives
11) Ability to prepare technical report
12) Ability to oversee project management, budget management and business development |
