| Responsibilities |
1) Work in the Building Commissioning Group 2) Provide full LEED commissioning services on energy efficient and sustainable buildings 3) Prepare commissioning documentation, review building designs for energy efficiency and LEED requirements and implement building commissioning plans 4) Liaise with contractors, clients, consulting engineers, architects and their representatives 5) Attend various sites within Western Canada and occasionally in other locations within Canada 6) Perform site inspections to ensure that installed equipment meets the design intent, is installed in a manner that renders it maintainable and meets the client’s expectations 7) Work on both documentation in the office and field testing |
| Requirements |
1) Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Building Systems Sciences or a related field) 2) 10 years of experience in mechanical design and field review for buildings, or 5 years experience in commissioning, operating and/or maintaining HVAC systems and DDC Control Systems in large multi-faceted facilities 3) Strong background of commercial buildings, M&E, DDC controls and HVAC for energy efficiency and operational efficacy 4) Proficient in Microsoft Office |
