Responsibilities
1) Execute raw material supply plans for plant’s weekly requirements 2) Manage supplier and plant relationships 3) Negotiate market prices with suppliers 4) Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure speed to market for new and innovative products 5) Prepare daily, weekly and monthly market related reports 6) Update market tracking data sets
Requirements
1) Ability to execute in a highly demanding purchasing environment 2) Minimum five years purchasing experience with a major food manufacturing company 3) Completion of post-secondary education in business related field 4) Superior analytical skills and an ability to quickly and efficiently evaluate large data sets using advanced techniques (pivot tables, logic statements, macro formulation) 5) Superior IT skills including BPCS, Excel & Word
