About our client
Our client is a leading family-owned food/dairy manufacturer based in Minnesota. Over the last century, the company’s primary focus has remained the same: service customers in the delivery of superior dairy products.
Position Location
Quality Assurance Manager Minnesota
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Formulate basic policies, plan programs, standards and techniques to carry out the objectives of the Quality Control Department
2) Develop and maintain a sound organizational structure, staffed with qualified personnel
3) Provide management with the results and recommend any corrective action that may be required
4) Interface with sales, manufacturing, and distribution to establish quality requirements on individual products and services
5) Manage quality inspection and test functions to ensure that proposed and existing products and processes are reviewed for the purpose of avoiding or eliminating unnecessary quality difficulties; develop recommendations for improvements that increase product uniformity and reliability
Requirements
1) Minimum 3 years quality assurance management experience within the food industry
2) Strong communication skills -- verbal and written
4) Degree (4-year) in food science
