About our client
Our client is the largest global supplier of processed egg products. The company is also a diversified food processor and distributor with businesses in refrigerated grocery and refrigerated potato products.
Position Location
Maintenance Manager New Jersey
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Facility General Manager
Responsibilities
1) Supervise and manage the entire Maintenance Department
2) Manage and update work orders and PM programs
3) Oversee installing new equipment
4) Provide a safe work environment for employees
5) Assist heavily in the capital planning and budgeting process
6) Recognize and take steps to resolve operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations
7) Maintain and improve record keeping ensuring that the info is current, correct, and complete
8) Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent manner
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering (Masters preferred), with at least 5 years maintenance management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties
2) Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations
3) Ability to manage and update computerized maintenance management systems
4) Knowledge of basic mechanics, including welding, electrical, fabrication, preventative maintenance, plant operations and government safety regulations
5) Able to supervise department personnel in a fair and consistent manner
6) Minimum 7 to 25 years experience in the similar field
