About our client

Position Location
Project Engineer Pennsylvania
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Corporate Engineering Manger
Responsibilities
1) Direct responsibilities of the engineering department involving a major, state-of-the-art, 3-year expansion project
2) Continually improve quality of the engineering department, encourage development, provide long-term vision, and coordinate strategic plans
3) Manage the plant’s annual and future capital budget
4) Direct department activities to modify, and test existing designs
5) Establish standards and policies for installation, commissioning, and starting up, according to engineering principles and safety regulations
6) Ensure that newly installed machines and equipment fulfill contract specifications
7) Review and communicate to operations team, request for new products, new packages, etc. and ensure preparedness and feasibility, including cost estimates, schedule and implementation
8) Maintain GMPs at the highest level in all areas of responsibility
9) Ensure engineering drawings, permits, etc. are in accordance with company standards
10) Monitor the execution of projects
11) Work both as a manager and as an individual contributor
Requirements
1) Experience in managing a capital project
2) Strong organizational skills
3) Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
4) Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in packaging processes
5) Experience in leading a 24/7, 3-shift operation
6) Managed engineers and supervisors
7) Strong financial and analytical skills
8) Ability to work with clients, vendors, and other team members at all levels
9) Microsoft project experience
10) Basic knowledge using AutoCAD LT Experience with PLC desired
