| Responsibilities |
1) Handle all aspects of plant processing operation to ensure safe, efficient and quality operation 2) Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures and labor; provide leadership, direction and training to employees to accomplish company goals and objectives 3) Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machinery and equipment 4) Identify improvement opportunities and lead change 5) Provide input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products and participate in management activities to support the company's long-term plans |
| Requirements |
1) Prior experience with pre-cooked and frozen meats 2) Additional experience in meat packaging 3) Minimum 7 to 25 years’ experience in the similar field 4) Good English written and verbal skills, and knowledge of French will be an added asset 5) Diploma preferred |
