| Responsibilities |
1) Prepare and administer departmental budgets, exercise general directions over preparation of plant’s annual budgets and capital expenditure plans 2) Monitor performance against budgeted targets and recommend course of action 3) Direct preparation of plant’s financial information 4) Study, interpret and report significant events and practices having impact on business operations to management 5) Participate in formulation of short and long-range financial goals and objectives 6) Analyze financial aspects of strategies and plans and make specific recommendations that result in cost reductions and profit improvements 7) Supervise maintenance of ledgers, inventory records of raw and package materials and related accounting reports, files and documents 8) Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and on timely basis 9) Analyze and review all new product costing 10) Act as liaison between plant and corporate office as well as other segments of organization on financial matters 11) Supervise accounting department personnel to ensure adherence to professional accounting principles, concepts and techniques 12) Provide necessary training and instruction to subordinates to maintain effective operations 13) Assign and schedule work to subordinates and evaluate performance |
