About our client
Our client is a premier manufacturer of prepared meat and poultry products directed at the retail, foodservice and institutional markets. The company is known for producing the finest meat products.
Position Location
Maintenance Manager California
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control and evaluate the maintenance of processing facilities
2) Develop and implement safety procedures
3) Plan and manage departmental budget
4) Direct preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems
5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements
6) Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment towards greater efficiency
7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within maintenance/electrical departments
Requirements
1) College or university program in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical preferred
2) Minimum 7 years’ maintenance supervision and/or management experience required
3) Knowledge of HACCP, food safety/quality systems
