| Responsibilities |
1) Process import orders
2) Act as primary contact with large "direct import" customers
3) Handle order entry, confirmation, proforma invoice creation, goods receipt and supplier invoice receipt
4) Process warehouse replenishment order
5) Supervise supply chain planning
6) Oversee cost analysis for importing activities
7) Reconcile monthly vendor reports and resolve discrepancies
8) Maintain purchase order log
9) Ensure electronic filing system is legally compliant
10) Maintain vessel schedules
11) Develop system to track containers at the port
12) Maintain knowledge of basic US customs formalities to enter imported products into the US
13) Create allocation reports on ad-hoc basis |
| Requirements |
1) Transportation and import industry background
2) 2-5 years’ progressive experience in consumer packaged goods environment
3) Supply chain planning and forecasting knowledge
4) 5-10 years’ experience
5) Bachelor’s degree (4 year) |
