About our client
Our client is a privately owned Italian style baked goods manufacturer in North America that has been in operation since 1910.
Position Location
Operations Manager New York
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Owners
Responsibilities
1) Handle all aspects of processing operation, including budgeting, planning and directing
2) Carry out operational and financial forecasting to ensure safe, efficient and quality operation
3) Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures and labor
4) Provide leadership, direction and training to employees to accomplish company goals and objectives
5) Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of resources
6) Identify improvement opportunities and lead change
7) Provide input for development of product strategy & research and development of new and emerging products
8) Participate in management activities to support company’s long-term plans
Requirements
1) Strong operations/plant management background
2) Knowledge of AIB an added advantage
3) Full bakery knowledge, from Maintenance to Quality etc.
4) Minimum 5-25 years’ experience required
