| Responsibilities |
1) Conduct and implement feasibility analyses of key manufacturing and distribution center strategic projects 2) Recommend methods for maximizing utilization of production facilities and staff for strategic initiatives 3) Develop implementation strategies 4) Review project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements 5) Develop CARs, approve and control spending against project budgets 6) Coordinate management of all capital equipment installations including cost estimates, vendor selection, ordering of equipment, overseeing installation and approval in order to obtain satisfactory project completion 7) Ensure project expenditures and commitments are monitored and tracked 8) Ensure compliance of regional facilities with all relevant federal, state and local regulations regarding air emissions, wastewater discharges, storm water discharges and hazardous waste 9) Report and develop compliance plans, emissions qualifications, permit applications and keep a record for federal, state and local agencies 10) Evaluate new regulations and determine applicability to regional operations 11) Interface with regulatory agencies 12) Direct project engineers and plant engineers on project priorities, guide problem solving on work in progress |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) mandatory 2) 5-27 years’ experience 3) Strong experience in equipment layouts in facilities/distributions centers 4) Project management experience in food manufacturing preferably bakery 5) Ability to travel 6) Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations 7) Background in capital equipment installation, vendor selections, cost analysis, etc. |
