Position Location VP - Operations California Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience President Responsibilities 1) Ensure outgoing product conforms to established quality parameters, regulatory requirements and food safety requirements 2) Support/promote initiatives designed to reduce non-conformance and improve overall operations performance 3) Coordinate supply chain activities and order processing, including third party manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, and delivery to end customers 4) Research and develop strategic product sourcing options 5) Function as primary point of communication among suppliers, customers, and group companies 6) Manage relationships with third party manufacturing partners 7) Define production forecasts and schedules 8) Supervise logistics for product shipments 9) Participate in contract reviews and spearhead implementation of contract terms 10) Negotiate with packaging and ingredients suppliers 11) Manage quality control to ensure high standards in product quality from partner manufacturers 12) Work with parent company in managing local quality control 13) Analyze feasibility, options, and processes for importing products 14) Maintain database of trademark registrations 15) Guide Marketing Manager in new product development 16) Develop and maintain policies and approval procedures for key operations areas 17) Prepare product formulation and cost sheets Requirements 1) Business degree (4 years) is mandatory and MBA preferred 2) Minimum 10-25 years’ experience required www.fepsearc hgroup.com Detroit • Boston • Toronto • San Francisco • Buffalo Confidential Document 3) 8-10 years of completely operational and PNL experience 4) Strong background in food, beverage or wine preferred
