| Responsibilities |
1) Manage inventory for plant within target inventory level
2) Effectively utilize processing centers and packing lines
3) Schedule production in processing and packing for plant
4) Manage production schedule
5) Analyze effect of production breakdowns and adjust schedule as required
6) Keep production and crews as stable as possible
7) Make adjustments to schedule to meet short-term customer service and shipping requirements
8) Provide daily reporting on actual vs. schedule
9) Handle weekly schedule analysis
10) Support vacation coverage of other positions in department |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 years) preferred
2) Minimum 2-6 years’ experience required
3) Experience in production scheduling or planning
4) Experience in meat & beef preferred |
