Responsibilities
1) Study shipping notices, bills of loading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and shipping methods 2) Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments 3) Determine routing and legal load limits of trucks as per established schedules and weight limits of states 4) Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications and seals loaded barrels 5) Issue written and oral instructions and compile records of unfilled orders 6) Study and standardize procedures 7) Manage shipping costs and implement/execute cost saving programs
Requirements
1) Degree not mandatory 2) Experience of 6-12 years 3) Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment 4) Able to prioritize and communicate to all levels of organization
