About our client
Our client is a leading supplier of baked biscuits and cracker products in North America. The company has been in operation for more than eight decades.
Position Location
Quality Supervisor / Manager Alabama
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Executive Management
Responsibilities
1) Enhance quality/food safety programs and improve MICS & HACCP score compliance
2) Manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives
3) Ensure all quality programs (HACCP, PQMS, ISO), systems and compliance meet corporate specifications
4) Provide leadership/guidance to HACCP coordinator
5) Lead efforts to ensure that all internal and external audits are completed above acceptable levels
6) Work within framework of approved procedures, policies, processes, and budgets to implement and manage all quality initiatives
Requirements
1) Degree not required
2) Minimum 3-30 years of experience in quality supervision or management
3) Strong food industry experience
4) Proven leadership quality, problem solving/decision-making skills & HACCP / Food Safety expertise
5) Ability to handle troubleshooting situations
6) Proficiency in MS-Office suit
