About our client
Our client is a leading supplier of nutritional beverage products.
Position Location
Food Scientist Illinois
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Execute all new formulation development related to procurement and development of new/current customers
2) Responsible for primary technical transfer of the new formulations into commercial operations
3) Develop long-range objectives and plan to meet them
4) Coordinate/Supervise and check the quality and timeliness of work
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) preferred
2) Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in formulating nutritional and food products
3) Knowledge of all manufacturing procedures, capabilities, and departments (i.e. powder blending and filling, liquid processing and filling, etc)
4) Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, deadlines, and team members
5) Ability to work with others in a high-paced environment
6) Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
7) Fluency in Spanish/English a plus
8) Strong analytical skills
