VP Brewery Operations |
| Responsibilities |
1) Manage day-to-day operations of the departments (Brewing, Cellar, Packaging, QA, etc.) 2) Evaluate current operations, systems & management structure in the plant 3) Set up systems to measure and provide feedback on plant and employee performance 4) Provide additional leadership and career development to current department heads 5) Assist in planning and construction process of a major expansion of brewing facility 6) Assist in the management of brewing partner and supplier relationships 7) Prioritize, plan, and execute the brewing, packaging, and logistics processes 8) Implement standard operating procedures, quality measurements systems, and key performance indicators |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) in Science or Engineering, or equivalent level of training 2) Formal certification in brewing or brewing science preferred 3) Minimum 10 years of brewing industry experience with 5 years of progressive advancement in management positions 4) Familiarity with management of all aspects of beer production and packaging 5) Experience in hiring, training, and management of production and technical personnel 6) Strong technical and analytical skills to effectively resolve beer production, engineering, packaging, and employee performance issues 7) Ability to develop and manage productive relationships with staff and peers 8) Familiarity with technical work in consumer preference, technical sensory evaluation, product development, and taste panel operations 9) Sound technical knowledge of brewing equipment, raw materials and components 10) Strong communication and leadership skills 11) Experience in motivating staff to achieve goals 12) Proven success in leading change |
