About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of dairy products. The company has been in operation for more than 150 years and has $2.5B in annual sales revenue.
Position Location
Human Resource Manager Nearest Metro City: Philadelphia, PA
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Develop and administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel
2) Plan, organize and control all activities of the department
3) Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives and systems
4) Implement and update (annually) compensation program
5) Rewrite job descriptions (as necessary)
6) Conduct annual salary surveys and develop merit pool (salary budget)
7) Analyze compensation, monitor Performance Evaluation Program and revise it (as necessary)
8) Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures
9) Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, etc.
10) Develop and maintain Affirmative Action Program
11) File EEO-1 annually
12) Maintain records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
13) Coordinate training/educational activities for the plant
14) Assist other departments with developing training/educational curriculum and activities
15) Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
16) Manage and monitor career path/performance management programs
17) Oversee employee relations, counseling, coaching and corrective action administration
18) Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings/seminars
19) Evaluate reports, decisions and results of the department related to established goals
20) Maintain company organization charts
21) Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt personnel
22) Prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures
23) Perform other incidental and related duties (as required)
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 5 years of experience in training and HR
3) Knowledge of finance and accounting as well as proficiency in computers
