About our client
Our client is a publicly owned baked good manufacturer. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales revenue of $2B.
Position Location
Production Manager Nearest Metro City: Toronto, ON
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Work with a diverse group of associates
2) Develop a ‘team’ approach and produce quality products along with a good work environment
3) Ensure proper process controls are in place and followed
4) Manage start-up of a new operation, make it stress free, and balance it
5) Ensure consistent quality product is delivered each day to customers
6) Serve as a team member for the new dough operation
7) Understand, uphold, and enforce strict process controls, GMPs as well as high sanitation standards
Requirements
1) Minimum 3 years of experience in dough with hands-on, multi-tasking skills
2) Supervisory experience in a bread, bakery or food manufacturing environment
3) Willingness to travel to the US for training (5 – 6 weeks)
