Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Supervise the department and ensure that production goals are met
2) Oversee maintenance technicians, mechanics and electricians
3) Observe and correct unsafe acts and conditions
4) Orient and train employees
5) Maintain good housekeeping
6) Conduct periodic safety inspections of the production area and equipment
7) Investigate all accidents/incidents in the area of responsibility and ensure that proper action is taken to correct any deficiencies
8) Conduct periodic inspections of safety and emergency equipment
9) Enforce safety rules
10) Communicate safety information to employees, including descriptions of relevant accidents |
| Requirements |
1) Knowledge of small motor control, PLC and Ladder Logic
2) Previous experience of working in a union environment |
