| Responsibilities |
1) Identify (proactively) novel/unique product or process opportunities
2) Initiate, formulate, evaluate and present manufacturing alternatives
3) Demonstrate and apply knowledge of business aspects for prioritization, solution development as well as execution of assignments
4) Develop new or continuous improvement process solutions on existing systems
5) Create conceptual and detailed engineering design
6) Make cost estimates
7) Develop projects as well as specify and obtain bids
8) Supervise installation
9) Provide maintenance and production operator training
10) Identify and recommend changes to regulatory codes and standards
11) Serve as an organizational representative in external supplier negotiations
12) Identify comprehensive engineering opportunities to drive business results |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year)
2) Minimum 9 years of engineering/operations experience (food industry) along with experience in evaluating, formulating and presenting manufacturing improvements
3) Project management, cost estimation, installation supervision and equipment training as well as knowledge of key measures (EVA/TRR) and capital costing along with hands-on problem-solving skills |
